The philosophy of practice

Dear patients, in this practice you will only be treated by Dr. Hafner personally advised and treated surgically. Due to the many years of experience as a senior physician at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich, you can rely on extensive expertise. The healing and your satisfaction is the philosophy of the practice. The basis for this is personal trust and medically sound advice. The demand for a high quality of life and healthy well-being is constantly increasing in the population and many patients want health, activity and good looks even in old age. Healthy teeth and aesthetically pleasing dentures play a special role. Removable dentures are no longer an acceptable option for many patients. Chewing function is a very important factor in quality of life. In old age, when active physical activities decrease and age-related limitations occur, many people are forced to leave certain areas of perception and experience, and this is usually accepted. Culinary experiences, on the other hand, are possible into old age if there is sufficient chewing function with fixed teeth. It is therefore unacceptable for many people to endure corresponding restrictions due to tooth loss. The desire for oral rehabilitation is very pronounced and can also be fulfilled. In contrast to many other aging and degeneration processes, medicine and dentistry are now able to completely restore the chewing function and aesthetics through specialized and competent practitioners in interdisciplinary cooperation and thus to meet the required patient requirements. The high social value of healthy teeth and the ability to participate unrestrictedly in culinary and cultural events and the associated communication in mutual respectful acceptance cannot be overestimated. In the case of tooth loss, there is usually a desire for fixed dentures with implants. It is not uncommon for patients who are already edentulous, who are desperate with their full dentures and no longer accept this condition, to have this wish. Basically, the conventional replacement of a lost tooth (e.g. due to trauma, caries or unsuccessful root canal treatment) means grinding down healthy neighboring teeth for a prosthetic bridge construction. Especially for young or middle-aged patients, this is not a real alternative to implant care today. The main focus of the practice is on implantology and dentoalveolar surgery. Here you can rely on extensive long-term experience and competence. I look forward to a consultation appointment with you. In our doctor's room, with a view of Munich's Viktualienmarkt, we can then discuss your personal wishes and your medical and dental concerns in a relaxed atmosphere.
